An elastic expansion/compression because of radial forces can be considered. The calculation is based on thick ring theory with constant pressure at the outside or inside. Either the minimum or the medium contact force of the balls is used to calculate this elastic deformation. The deformation is constant over the whole length of the nut. Therefore, the method is not suited for a pure moment load.
