The load can be defined as point or surface load. Surface loads should be preferred because of smoother load introduction. Point loads can only be defined inside of a part.
If "is variied in series" is selected, the force is multiplied with the load factor on active calculation of series. The option is also used to add the force into the load spectrum, if this is active.
If the option "calculate stiffness" is active the stiffness for the selected face is calculated and added to the report. A central node is connected to the surface by averaging and then the stiffness for this node is calculated. The values in the report are the reciprocal values of the main diagonal of the compliance matrix.
