The diagram shows the load for inner and outer race contacts of ball bearings. For roller bearings the roller load of the inner ring contact is shown and the force on the shoulder.
For NUP type cylindrical roller bearing with out axial clearance or very small axial clearance and tilting angle this diagram can be used to check for forces at the shoulder. These can occur if there is not enough space for the roller to tilt.
