This input is only available for taper roller bearings, radial half spherical roller bearings and axial spherical roller bearings. It is the distance between center of roller and center of bearing. It can be calculated from the distance to center of pressure ‘a’ provided in bearing catalogs.
For radial half spherical roller bearings the distance 'a' should usually be equal to the bearing width, so that the center of curvature of the outer ring is on one side of a bearing and two combined bearing have a sphere as outer race.
