If several shafts are defined, they can have different axial positions. The value for position defines the position of the start point or the left end of a shaft relative to the group. All loads and boundary conditions are then defined relative to this start point.
The shaft position cal also be changed by dragging the shaft in the 2D view using left mouse button together with Shift and Control keys.
