The rotation speed of the shaft has an influence on bearing life and natural frequencies with gyroscopic effect. If the checkbox behind the input is not selected, the software is trying to calculate it using constraints. It is set to zero if the shaft is not connected to others.
A positive speed is a clockwise rotation looking in the x-direction.
